Samsung Ubigate SIP Gateway

The Samsung Ubigate SIP Gateway allows businesses to take advantage of reduced call charges through the use of SIP trunks as used by BT.

SIP trunks are IP phone trunks which can be used to make standard telephone calls, which can help you save money on line charges as well as call charges.

For example, a Ubigate is installed between a traditional phone system and its ISDN-30 circuit. Without reconfiguring your phone system, the Ubigate can then route some or all of your outgoing calls via a SIP trunk. Once the system has been fully proven, the ISDN-30 can be disconnected and the associated line charges saved. This migration can occur without any changes to your telephone system, your telephone numbers or your DDIs.

For businesses with large field based workforces, the Ubigate can be used with a Mobex system or GSM gateway to route mobile calls over the mobile network, thereby taking advantage of tariffs offering free calls between company mobiles.
