Applied Photophysics IP Telephony Solution
High-tech British manufacturing company Applied Photophysics Ltd. required a highly flexible, expandable and yet cost-effective Telephony solution for their new offices in Leatherhead, Surrey. Metrodata Network Solutions proposed the Samsung OfficeServ 7200S Telephony platform, with i-3105 IP handsets for the majority of users.

Multiservice Resilient Fibre Networking via CWDM
Updating an existing critical network between three oil rigs in the North Sea using spare fibre already connecting the three platforms. The choice of using a CWDM network allowed multiple traffice types (such as Voice & Data) to be multiplexed together using different wavelengths. The designed network could suffer two simultaneous fibre and/or equipment failures without any loss of integrity.
